Meet the Expert Behind LSprogramming

The Foundation of Expertise
My name is Tobi, and my journey into the science of emergency lighting began in 2010. What started as a volunteer role in EMS and disaster relief quickly evolved into a lifelong fascination with emergency vehicle technology. For over 15 years, I have analyzed, documented, and studied warning systems - developing a deep understanding of what makes an emergency vehicle truly visible and safe.

Why Whelen?
Early in my career, one brand stood out for its superior engineering and performance: Whelen. Since 2015, my interest in the brand has grown steadily, eventually leading me to move beyond the surface level and dive deep into the logic of their control systems.

Turning Passion into Performance
In 2022, I founded LSprogramming to bridge the gap between advanced technology and operational reality. I recognized that many agencies have world-class hardware but lack the optimized programming needed to utilize its full potential.

My Mission

I want to help first responders and agencies by finding light and siren solutions that make their work easier and safer. Combining the possibilities of modern technology with a vast range of experience and knowledge - expertise that few others possess - is the cornerstone of LSprogramming. This is how I make a difference in your daily operation.

Independent & Objective Expertise

LSprogramming is a completely independent entity. I am not affiliated with Whelen Engineering, nor am I employed by any distributor or installer.

My focus is purely on system logic, not hardware sales. Because I do not sell physical products, my recommendations are never influenced by sales quotas or the desire to upsell unnecessary equipment. This independence ensures that my only priority is your safety.

I am proud to partner with a diverse range of clients, including:

  • Individual First Responders & All Types of Emergency Agencies

  • Vehicle Upfitters & Manufacturers

  • Private Users & Companies
